TURCK introduces an optical encoder series designed completely without gears to eliminate wear and sensitivity to magnetic fields.  The Kubler by TURCK F36 encoder series’ compact size of only 36 mm with a hollow shaft diameter of up to 10 mm makes them well-suited for drive engineering and medical applications. 

F36 singleturn encoders have a resolution of up to 17 bits; multiturn encoders have a resolution of up to 41 bits with over 16 million revolutions.  An IP 67 protection rating and a temperature range of -40 to 90°C makes the encoders able to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

Kubler by TURCK encoders employ state-of-the-art OptoASIC technology with high integration density that results in fewer components and connection points to increase operational reliability.  Further, a patented Safety Lock™ bearing structure provides increased ability to withstand vibrations and eliminates installation errors.

TURCK’s Q08 uprox®+ factor 1 sensor is now equipped with extended range capabilities of 8 mm for all metals.  The Q08 sensors’ compact size is well-suited for applications with limited mounting space, and an IP 68 protection rating allows the sensors to be used in a wide variety of applications.

The Q08 sensor family comes equipped with internal shielding that effectively eliminates pre-damping, allowing the user to utilize the sensor’s full switching distance even when mounted on metal surfaces.  Two LEDs provide a reliable visible indication of the switching status.

TURCK’s uprox+ factor 1 sensors do not have a reduction factor and are capable of detecting steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum at the same rated sensing distance.

Like TURCK’s other cylinder position sensors, the Q25L detects the position of a piston on standard pneumatic cylinders by utilizing a series of Hall elements that sense the piston magnet and send a signal back to the processor.  The Q25L line has a repeat accuracy of less than 0.1 percent of the measuring range and a linear deviation of less than 1 percent of the full scale.  It also features a blind zone of only 20.5 mm on each end, making it easy-to-apply in space restricted areas.

TURCK announces new A-Size 3 and 4-pin 7/8 16UN powerfast™ connectors that provide up to 600 Volts and 15 Amps of power.  These IP67 rated connectors provide a modular wiring system designed to handle high current applications for machine power distribution, while providing resistance to vibration commonly associated with conveyors, motors and material handling applications.

The cordsets are available with a tray rated, exposed run PVC flexlife ® cable, with or without STOOW rating, and 14 AWG wires that allow you to replace hard wiring with a robust, quick disconnect system that saves the time and money spent installing a conduit system.

The A-Size powerfast line offers male and female, straight connectors, standard and custom lengths, and pigtails or extensions.  To make the system complete, fully encapsulated mating receptacles, with 1/2”-14 NPT mounting threads are available.

The 3 and 4-pin cordsets are available with flexlife ® PVC or PUR jacketed cable. All connectors deliver IEC IP 67 protection.

The M8 picofast line, like most TURCK cordsets, provides male or female, straight and right angle connectors, standard and custom lengths, and pigtails or extensions. Fully encapsulated mating receptacles are also offered, completing the system.
